Enrollment Process

Prior to enrollment, a play visit is made to our Daycare in order for the family and staff to become acquainted and to determine whether the daycare environment is suitable for the child.

A nutritious breakfast, a hot mid-day meal, and afternoon snack are provided. Children’s special dietary needs are discussed with the daycare staff when the family is interviewed.

Children’s allergies are noted and posted in the kitchen and in each classroom.

Parent Involvement

Parents are invited and encouraged to visit the day care centre and to participate in the daily program with their child.

Transportation is provided at an additional cost to parents facing difficulty in transporting their children to and from the child care.

For those families that are in need of financial assistance please contact the City of Hamilton Daycare Subsidy office at 905 546 4870.
